Time Cards-
Consecutive Printing
Consecutive printing time clocks print times in a single column starting in the upper portion of the timecard and working down the time card, or beginning at the bottom working up the time card. To accomplish the consecutive printing task, many timeclocks clip off a small portion from the edge of the time card hence the term "clipper". Other models punch a hole in the card, and are referred to as "hole-punchers". Manufacturers have devised newer methods such as only perforating the time card or optical detection of the next print space. One common factor to the various machines is that they all require a card with a fixed width be used. Card length determiners the maximum number of prints that will fit on the timecard. The time clocks acceptable card width may be adjustable, but generally the adjustment is performed only by a qualified service technician. Therefore, you must be sure to select time cards of the proper width for your time clock.
